CBV genetics are herd-changers and our progess is accelerating – speed matters
Outliers in statistics for efficiency will not deliver on a whole herd basis without a comprehensive plan for genetics and management, including an elevated knowledge of combined stressors and adaptation… research has illustrated this many times.
We are investing now into our fifth decade, developing genetics and management solutions to the most obvious needs in our beef business.

At CBV we have long held the view that reproduction speed and survival is the true expression of adaptation – at low cost and high utilisation of pastures and shrubs.

Subsequent development of DTC (Days to Calving) EBV’s have delivered, without doubt, a valuable tool and part solution, speeding up our genetic progress.

Further genomic studies, to which we are totally committed, along with reproduction science and endocrinology, all help CBV in our hunt for practical solutions in science.

For commercial results… off grass.
